Piercing needle
A piercing needle should
have a sharp cutting edge rather than just a point so the piercing
needle doesn’t pull the skin apart when making the hole in
the body. The piercing needle will need to be specific to the type
of body jewelry you will be inserting after the piercing.
Different gauges of jewelry require different piercing
needles. When getting a body piercing, made sure the
piercer has clean and new piercing needles. The salon or parlor
you get your piercing done in should tell you all about the quality
of their piercing needles and if you have any questions you should
ask about their needles for piercing.
